Portugal abounds with beautifully crafted, colorful pottery that combines centuries-old techniques with traditional and modern finishes. Design lovers inspired by the local offerings can join local ceramic artist José Conceição, a member of Loulé’s vibrant arts and craft scene, for a pottery-making workshop in our on-site studio. Conceição will guide you through the basics of working with clay, demonstrate various techniques and help you to create your own piece of authentic Portuguese clayware. Once fired in the kiln, your unique pottery piece will be delivered in your room, so you’ll always shave an artful keepsake of your time in the Algarve.
